You Survived What Happened. Now It’s Time to Heal.
You have spent years trying to move forward, telling yourself that the past is behind you. Yet something still feels stuck.
Chest tight… heart-pounding…constantly on edge…
You’re overwhelmed by emotions, shutting down during conflict, and over reacting to what seems like small things. It’s a struggle to trust even your closest people, and part of you wants to just drive them away. When the intensity of it all is too much, you isolate in your room and distract yourself with work.

But this isn’t working any more. It’s too painful to stay feeling alone, disconnected, and numb.
The memories are blurry, disjointed, and from so long ago. Lying in bed at night, you wonder “What really happened? Am I making all this up? Is this just who I am?”
These experiences are often the lasting effects of trauma—not signs that something is wrong with you.
It may seem at times like your mind and body are working against you. But much of that is a natural, healthy response to the extremely dangerous, unhealthy situations you’ve experienced.
Trauma therapy can help you move beyond survival mode and bring balance, connection, and confidence into your life.

This isn’t just about reviewing what happened in the past. Trauma therapy is a path to developing a new relationship with yourself that allows you to feel grounded and confident as you move through present-day life.
This is an embodied process where we will do SO MUCH MORE than just talk about what happened! We will apply proven therapeutic methods that will open up a new sense of ease and comfort in your daily life.
Together we will…
Move beyond the confusion and distress… We will use the natural mechanics of the body and nervous system to develop your toolkit for managing emotions, stress, triggers, and overwhelm. This will help you get a handle on things, and bring some relief as quickly as possible!
Develop a sense of safety and wholeness in your body…Your body holds your greatest fears and most intense emotions, but it also holds your greatest capacity for presence and security. Together, we will build your capacity to work with the parts of your body that feel unsafe and locate your places of inner strength and resilience as well.
Rebuild your capacity to trust others… Then we’ll dive deep to the root issues, and gently rework your patterns around trust, boundaries, safety, relationships, and inner sense of self.
Find a way to move through the world that feels good for YOU… Through this process, you will get to know yourself better than you ever have before. We’ll explore your authentic self-expression, and how you want to align your life with who you really are beyond your past.
